Whether you really love or have literally no thoughts about Colton Underwood, you have to admit that this guy was made for TV. He truly appeals to everyone. For starters, he has an adorable face, but he’s also tall and muscular. He’s sweet enough to sell a nice little storyline that your mom will love, but he’ll also go rogue and jump over a fence for the viewers who live for drama. Colton’s just the kind of guy who loves to give the people what they want.

The good news is that Colton is coming BACK to television. This is honestly pretty unexpected, because most Bachelor alumni only return to the screen when they’re trying to find love again (with the exception of Wells serving up drinks on Paradise). Obviously, Colton is very in love with Cassie, so he can’t keep dabbling in Bachelor Nation. So, he’s got something else up his sleeve. He can’t really talk about it yet, but Colton did mention that he’s working on a project during an interview with Cosmopolitan. Here’s what he could actually tell us about the project he’s working on right now.

1. It’s going to be his “own show.”

Colton straight up said, “I really want my own show.” And guess what? It’s totally happening. It’s just apparently very secretive right now.

2. He’s been working on it for a really long time.

“Even before I went on The Bachelor, I’ve been going into hosting and broadcasting,” he said.

3. It is NOT going to be a reality show.

Okay, so this rules out almost everything that comes to mind right away. TBH, I totally kind of thought he might be taking over for Chris Harrison, but it sounds like that’s not the case because Colton can confirm that it’s definitely not a reality show.

4. There’s a broadcasting element.

Colton also mentioned that in addition to hosting, he’s interested in “broadcasting,” but this isn’t some Anchorman situation. It’s not like, broadcast journalism.

5. He’s going to play a role behind the scenes.

Colton says he was super interested in the production side of The Bachelor, and “probably more than anyone, asked a lot of questions. But I loved finding and seeing how it worked.”

6. It will probably be out sometime in 2020.

Yeah, that’s a pretty vague date but it’s already practically September, so we don’t have to wait that much longer.
